A breath of fresh air – GRASSL in Greifswald

The planned construction of the A20 motorway, colloquially known as the Ostseeautobahn, and its connection to Rügen Island, required various planning services in Mecklenberg-Vorpommern. The Greifswald office was established in 1993 to meet this need.

In addition to the design of structures on the Stralsund and Greifswald bypasses, as well as on the motorway connection to Rügen, a variety of design, supervision, checking and structural testing services were carried out in Greifswald. The road accompanying the existing railway line in Greifswald and the bascule bridge over the Ziegelgraben are two flagship projects executed by the Greifswald office.

In collaboration with our other offices, the Greifswald office offers the entire GRASSL service portfolio and serves regional clients such as Usedomer Bäderbahn GmbH, Deutsche Bahn GmbH, road construction authorities and regional construction authorities as a reliable partner.
