Extension of the Motorway A10 between Nuthetal and Potsdam

Ground-Breaking Ceremony

The extension of the motorway A10 commenced with the ground-breaking ceremony on April 05th 2016. The construction section has a length of 9.03 km and includes the extension from 6 to 8 lanes with the total project cost estimated at approximately €120 million.

The consulting office GRASSL was responsible for multiple design stages ranging from preliminary investigations to tendering. These services were realized for three motorway bridges, two retaining walls and extensive noise protection barriers as well as traffic sign gantries.

In case of the railway bridge Ferch Lienewitz as a preparatory measure our services were extended to include the execution planning.

The opening ceremony was accompanied by the State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, Rainer Bomba, Brandenburgs Minister for Infrastructure and Regional, Planning, Kathrin Schneider as well as DEGES CEO Dirk Brandenburger.
