Our new images offer fascinating impressions of the construction work on the future Martinsried metro station (U6) in Munich:

• Reinforcement and formwork parts of the station floor with cellular openings and recesses,

Was has happened so far?

The images document the initial construction phase of the tunnel – open-cut construction in the area of the station.

What is the current situation?

Foundation construction has been concluded; the initial construction of the tunnel itself is underway. The next steps are:

• Construction of the slab track as a mass–spring system,
• Execution of the earthworks,
• Installation of the technical equipment
