Elbpromenade erhält internationale Aufmerksamkeit

In February, an article on the Niederhafen flood protection structure was published in the Japanese journal, NIKKEI CONSTRUCTION. In the article, the outstanding architecture, the historic significance of the structure for protecting the city of Hamburg against flooding and the far-sighted planning by those involved are praised. GRASSL engineers were involved in this project from the assessment of the structural stability of the existing structure through consultancy services during the competition and all the planning phases from preliminary and detailed design, application for planning permission and execution design up to advising the client during construction.
