Plattling bypass opened to traffic
Bypass formally opened by transport minister Kerstin Schreyer
All roads lead to Plattling - and now they lead over a particularly fine new bridge crossing the Isar River. Last week, the residents of Plattling inaugurated their new bypass. This will reduce the sometimes-overwhelming traffic and significantly improve the ambience in the town. In a formal ceremony, Transport Minister, Kerstin Schreyer, Minister of State, Bernd Sibler and other officials from politics and government agencies inaugurated the bypass in a festive ceremony.
The central element of the bypass is the arch bridge, in the planning of which GRASSL engineers were involved from the start. From the determination of the project requirements to the invitation to tender, the execution design, the external monitoring, local construction supervision and management, our staff were involved in the creation of the bridge over the Isar. A fantastic project, which due to the collaboration with the client, other engineering firms and construction companies creates a sustainable added value for the region.
Our colleague Roman accompanied the construction of the structure with his drone. Take a look at the video on LinkedIn!
