Over two days, the first segment of the superstructure for the bridge over the Rhine River in Leverkusen with an overall length of 66 m was successfully transferred from its pre-assembly area parallel to the A59 to its final position by means of an SPMT (self-propelled modular transporter).

This required the closure of the A59 from 10.00 p.m. on Friday, 4 March 2022 until 5.00 a.m. on Monday, 7 March 2022.
