In calendar week 51, seven prefabricated steel–concrete composite girders were installed during three night-time road and track closures, and seven girders were installed under traffic. During the traffic closures between 12:35 a.m. and 5:20 a.m., both the Viktoria Bridge and the rail tracks were closed.

The central girders of the western superstructure are 40 m long and were delivered from the precast concrete plant in Erfurt to Bonn by special transport. Each of the girders weighed roughly 45 metric tons. Each girder of the south-west end span weighed roughly 28 metric tons. They were installed by a crawler crane.

Seven further girders of the north-west end span will be installed at the end of January 2021.

GRASSL was commissioned by the city of Bonn to carry out the services of work phases 1 to 7.
