30th anniversary plus 2 – GRASSL Project Days 2023
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 30th anniversary celebration of our Berlin office in 2021 had to be cancelled. All the better to celebrate it during this year’s project days in lovely weather in the beautiful surroundings of Lake Schwielow. Over two days, all GRASSL employees listened to or gave professional presentations, exchanged views on projects and special topics, competed together and against each other in a dragon boat race and partied hard.
On this page, we share some impressions of these two eventful days, on which the GRASSL spirit shone brightly. Let us impress you!
PRESENTATIONS AND EXCHANGE
Just like in other years, knowledge was shared through presentations and workshops, interesting insights into the work of colleagues of other offices and into other topics were gained, and experiences were exchanged. In addition to joint activities, our employees were able to choose between manifold workshops and presentations. Before, between and after the presentations there was enough time to network and discuss further topics and questions.
Into the dragons – steady – go!
After a snack, ten allotted teams took to the water for the 1st GRASSL dragon boat race. After an introduction from a professional, the first race with 2 x 5 boats was run. The five best teams were allowed to compete against each other in the gold finals, the remaining five teams in the silver finals. Everyone competed hard and each team gave its best, which is reflected by the close results. In the evening, the winners were announced and the medals handed out. The “Fluch des Schwielowsees” team gained first place – congratulations!
Evening events
At the conclusion of the first day, some of our employees were honoured in a ceremony. Several employees celebrated their 10th anniversary at GRASSL, and one even their 45th anniversary! Following the celebration, there was a barbecue buffet and everyone was able to sit together in a cheerful atmosphere and get to know each other better. At the end of the second day and the event, there was a stylish dinner, followed by a lively party with a band and a DJ.
